Unbounded Freedom is a Guide to Creative Commons and it is an excellent document, although the sideways PDF format oddness takes some getting used to. Its also distributed under a Creative Commons Licence.

I have seen some pretty unique signs in libraries out there, however while browsing Flickr I came across Library Signage and it distracted me for a bit. Enjoy your 15 minutes of internet use (I think they mean it!), and remember to “Ask the librarians if you need help” (Although not if it involves desktop publishing software).
Plenty more signs roam within, but they do have some good examples as well.
Favorite new word found on Flickr has to be ‘Stalag Zeitgeist’.

I am on a book cover, a real book! I am sure its not a first for a librarian but it does lack the usual chapters on biblography’s, weeding or collection policys.
Some mildly pointless trivia, but that picture was taken in the real Llanddewi Brefi and was created with the assistance of a vast amount of clothes pegs. You can’t see them of course, but a simple fact is that due to a combination of long cycle rides and hearty salad suppers I hardly fitted inside the chainmail, Which was made of wool anyway.

Want to cycle round the mean(ish) streets of Birmingham for a few hours and meet some great people?
Birmingham Critical Mass is the place to be!
Come riding anything that moves, and more visible the better. That means if you have those dayglo lycra tights and have been putting off wearing them because of a simple thing , like say common decency; throw caution to the wind, hop on your 3 wheeled bright pink recumbent with spokey dokeys and a pirate flag and pedal down to St Philip’s Cathedral in Birmingham on the first friday of every month.
Roller-blades, skateboards and strange things with wheels you found in the garage are all very welcome.
1st Friday of the Month, St Philip’s Cathedral 5.30 PM.
